Any ideas for my future anchor tattoo...?

Ok so i want to get an anchor tattoo. I have put a lot of thought in this tattoo. It is going to represent the 9 family members who have played a huge role in my life thus far. I saw an anchor that had 6 ropes intertwined in it and i really really liked that idea but i think it may look over crowded if I put in 9 ropes. Do you have any other ideas on how i can represent the 9 people in this tattoo??
