Is ballet and show choir a sport?

My second period class had a heated discussion about this topic and all the football players were saying that these aren't sports. I was just like.. Let's see you do it! And they were like well its not on ESPN so its not a sport! And then I was like well chess, billiards, and spelling bees are on ESPN and they aren't sports...So yeah.. What's your opinion?
