Where is the best place to live in the USA?

A few years after I have graduated and been teaching I want to perhaps do a VIF teacher exchange programme to see if i like living in America for more than 2 years. What would be the best place to live considering that I want near constant warmth and beaches because although I have grown up in the cold of north east england I have always had 2 beaches at my door step.
